Juan Lu is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Western Australia, where she also received the Master of Professional Engineering degree. She graduated from East China Normal University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was a research assistant at the University of Western Australia from 2018 to 2019, and a machine learning engineer in processing surveillance video and camera trap images from 2019 – 2020. Her research interests include the application of machine learning to decision support in cardiology and tabular neural networks.
