Samuel Schmidgall is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and a Research Fellow at the Neuromorphic Computing Group, UC Santa Cruz. Previously, he received his B.S. degree in Computer Science in 2021 from George Mason University. From 2019 to 2023 he was a scientist at NRL working on neuromorphic computing for space robotics. His primary research interests include computer vision and vision-guided robotics.
